2 min read

Sailors assigned to Coastal Riverine Squadron (CRS) 2 and Sailors assigned to the “Island Knights” of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25 conduct a casualty evacuation (CASEVAC) training evolution on a Mark VI patrol craft in May 2019.

CRS-2 is assigned to Costal Riverine Group 1, Det. Guam and is capable of conducting maritime security operations across the full spectrum of naval, joint and combined operations.

HSC-25 provides a multi-mission rotary wing capability for units in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations and maintains a Guam-based 24-hour search-and-rescue and medical evacuation capability, directly supporting U.S. Coast Guard and Joint Region Marianas.
